Kentucky Communities

Kentucky is a collection of several different counties that comprise what is known as the "Bluegrass State", a nickname based on the fact that native bluegrass grows abundantly here. It actually has a blue hue when it is allowed to grow to its natural height of two to three feet. Based on our fertile soil we were able to produce high quality livestock, especially thoroughbred horses, this gives us the reputation of being the "Horse Capital of the World". Our communities rage with beauty and even in the diverse downtown areas you are still within thirty minutes of rolling country roads lined with mature trees. Our state has the perfect balance of a culture rich metropolitan city life that can be escaped at a moment's notice.
